Hi Friends,
It’s been exactly one month since I got notice that I had to leave my slice of heaven in Santa Cruz, one block from the beach and right on the lake. Rentals are hard to come by in this area so I didn’t waste one moment, I started looking immediately. Fast forward and the cats and I are enjoying our new treetop home in Los Gatos, CA. I’ve repainted the entire place (Benjamin Moore Palladian blue). I have a much larger kitchen, bathroom and a walk in closet! I’m so loving all the space! There’s a backyard that needs some serious help but has potential, and front and back balconies for enjoying the warm weather, the sunrise and sunsets 🙂 I’ve missed it here but didn’t realize how much until I parked and walked up to this house on a clean, quiet street on the most perfectly sunny day (as they all are). I’ve already ridden my bike more than I have in the last 3 years and my old favorite trail is calling my name. I can honestly say I don’t miss the old place at all! I’m only 15 minutes further away from Santa Cruz and the shop so don’t worry, I’ll still be around. Now making appointments for color consulting and looking for one very special interior design project to occupy my time.

I’m so glad you like the new place! moving is such a pain that you really want to feel at home when you unpack, not that it might be temporary. And as a gal who rides her bike everyday, I totally support your upgraded bike activity!!
