You always tell me you’d love to see more pictures of my interior design projects. I put a couple on Houzz, and someday I will be adding more. However, yesterday after meeting with a new client about a really exciting job, I realized something big: not only are the majority of my clients extremely private, the whole process and finished design are private to me. I’m not designing to get my work into a magazine, I am designing a personal space for real people and their families. Once it’s done (although never done, always evolving) my clients are just so happy to enjoy their space, and I want to leave them to it. I love to look inside well-appointed homes, don’t get me wrong, I just feel odd about sharing my clients homes. Once in a while I might post a snippet of something fabulous, and I might get an email from a client asking me to take it down. I do want to inspire and share what I am very proud of, but most of the time that can and will be done via my shop. I think it’s the nature of my design style that attracts the private client. At least their fabulous friends will get to see and enjoy it too 🙂

PS, If a client really wants a showcase home and would be thrilled to have it in a magazine, you can bet your sweet bippy I’m on board!
